The Historic 2026 Comeback
After a nearly four-year hiatus to fulfill their mandatory military service, BTS has officially reclaimed the global stage. Following Suga's discharge in June 2025—which marked the final member to complete his service—the septet reunited to prepare for their highly anticipated return. On March 20, 2026, BTS officially made their comeback, releasing a brand-new album that marked their first full-group project since 2022's Proof. The comeback proved that ARMY's passion had only grown stronger during the group's absence, seamlessly transitioning the band back into the global spotlight.
Current Status: The ARIRANG World Tour Success
BTS is currently in the midst of their massive "BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' 2026–2027". The tour has been a monumental celebration of their reunion, showcasing both their collective synergy and the individual growth each member experienced. Just weeks ago, on September 6, 2026, the group wrapped up the incredible North American leg of the tour with a spectacular finale in Los Angeles. The stadium was packed with devoted fans, with many participating in massive outdoor gatherings and meetups to share the unparalleled joy of seeing all seven members perform together again.

Upcoming Plans: Taking on South America and Asia
Following a brief and well-deserved rest after their historic Los Angeles concert, BTS is preparing to take the ARIRANG tour to South America. The next chapter of their global journey kicks off in Bogota, Colombia, with highly anticipated performances at the Estadio El CampÃn on October 2 and 3. Immediately after, the group will travel to Lima, Peru, for a series of shows starting on October 7.
As the year progresses into late 2026 and early 2027, the tour will expand across Asia. Confirmed stops include major cities such as Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore, leading up to a grand finale in Manila scheduled for March 2027. Beyond the tour, the members continue to engage in diverse solo projects and cultural ambassadorships, cementing their influence far beyond music.
